Yolanda Dunderdale

Yolanda feels called to yoga innately, as it is within us all ultimately, one and the same. The natural movement often expressed in childhood combined with a spiritual upbringing prepares her for this work.
Formal experience and training includes Indiana University’s Elective Yoga Course in 2008, studio intern/student at Namaste Yoga/Life in Motion in New York City (under Elizabeth & Bruce Andes-Bell) 2013-2015, Indiana University’s Group Exercise Leader Training Course in 2016, and the Aerobics & Fitness Association of America’s (AFAA) Sunrise Yoga Module in 2017.
Yolanda has led at Indiana University’s Student Recreational Sports Center (holding classes of up to 40+ participants at times), the Indiana University School of Public Health, Briscoe Activity Center, Rogers Elementary and currently at Anytime Fitness and Touchstone Yoga & Massage in Bloomington, IN.
Yolanda’s favorite season is summer, joking that she’s always in Hawaii in her head. Her favorite pose is savasana, or corpse pose, for its stillness and symbolism as the death of the negative ego & past versions of ourselves, offering the opportunity to be born anew in every moment, transforming and transcending the constructs of past, present and future.
Forever a student on the path, Yolanda hopes and aims to honor and transmit the wisdom of her many wise teachers to her own students, continuing to learn from each and every one whose light shines in presence and spirit.
In this 60 minute class you will sweat and get stronger.
The first 30 minutes will get your heart rate up with a fast paced workout on the Spin bike. For the second 30 minutes, we will move to our mats for strength training using hand weights. 
No spin experience necessary. Beginners welcome!
