My story
I hold a Master’s degree in Art Therapy from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, which she earned in 2020. In addition to her art therapy. Nora is a certified Acudetox Specialist, a Qualified Mental Health Practitioner, and
a Certified Dialectical Behavioral Therapist (DBT), giving her a broad range of skills and approaches to support individuals in their mental health journeys.
Having worked extensively in the fields of recovery and mental health, Nora has honed her expertise in helping people heal and build resilience through both traditional therapy and alternative methods. Her practice is rooted in the belief that laughter, expressive arts, and creative expression are vital to fostering happiness, self-worth, and emotional well-being. She enjoys using her passion for art to connect with patients and colleagues alike, facilitating group painting sessions and creative workshops as a therapeutic tool.
In 2022, Nora relocated to Bloomington, Indiana, where she continues her work in the mental health and recovery communities. In addition to her professional life, Nora is an avid lover of music and often attends music events and festivals, finding inspiration and joy in the rhythm of life. She shares her home with her beloved boxer dog, Scarlett, who brings her both companionship and comfort.
Nora’s holistic approach to healing blends the therapeutic power of creative expression with evidence-based techniques, making her an inspiring and empathetic practitioner in the mental health field.
